Decker Tech Services (DTS) provides security-focused technology support for homes and small businesses in Highland, Illinois and surrounding areas. This policy explains how we collect, handle, and protect your information when you use our website, contact forms, and security tools.

1. Information We Collect

• Contact Form Submissions: When you contact us for support, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), business name (optional), and the details of your support request.
• Business Security Assessment Inputs: When you complete our self-check security assessment, we process your selections for each question. If you request a follow-up review, we collect your contact information (name, email, business name, and phone number).
• Server & Security Logs: Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, automatically logs connection details such as IP addresses, browser types, and access timestamps to protect the security and performance of our website.

2. How We Process Tool Inputs

• Phishing Email Analyzer (Local Analysis): Basic checks run entirely within your browser when Deep Scan is unchecked. Deep Scan is off by default, so text submitted for basic analysis is not sent to DTS or Cloudflare Workers AI.
• Optional Deep Scan (Cloudflare Workers AI): If you select Deep Scan, the submitted message text is sent to Cloudflare Workers AI for additional analysis. DTS does not intentionally save or log the submitted text. Cloudflare processes the request under its own privacy policy and may maintain provider-level operational or security records.
• Cloudflare Turnstile: We use Cloudflare Turnstile on our contact and assessment forms to help prevent automated abuse. Turnstile may collect browser, device, connection, and interaction data and may use cookies or other storage when necessary under Cloudflare's privacy policy.

3. Third-Party Services We Use

We use third-party providers to host the website, protect forms, process optional AI requests, and deliver communications. Cloudflare and Resend process information under their own privacy policies:

• Cloudflare: Website hosting, Turnstile spam prevention, static asset delivery, and optional edge AI text processing.
• Resend API: Used to securely transmit form submissions from our website to our support email address.

4. Data Retention

We do not keep data longer than is necessary to serve you:

• Form submissions sent via email are retained only as long as required to resolve your support ticket or technology consultation.
• DTS does not intentionally save or log text submitted to the Phishing Analyzer's cloud-based AI Deep Scan. Cloudflare may maintain provider-level operational or security records under its own policies.

5. Cookies and Tracking

Our website is designed to be privacy-friendly. We do not use marketing or advertising cookies. The Business Security Assessment uses sessionStorage to preserve in-progress answers for the current browser session. The contact form and assessment follow-up form use localStorage timestamps to enforce their submission cooldowns. Cloudflare Turnstile may use cookies or other storage as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy.

6. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal details from children.

7. Security Limitations

While we use modern security standards to transmit and protect data (such as HTTPS encryption), no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security for data sent to us online. Do not submit passwords, financial information, verification codes, or other highly sensitive data through our forms or tools.
